New website
About 2 years ago we started to work on our new website. The whishes we had for the new website where:
- An extensive webshop in which all our products, in all possible variants, where selectable by the customer in an intuitive way.
- To handle the order process on the website as far as possible.
- An user portal so customers can manage addresses, see their order status, and see their order history.
- Product support documents and video's available in a support section but also selectable from the products in the webshop.
- References of musicians who like to share their experience with Reed Machines and their products.
- Customer reviews coupled to the products.
- More attention for resellers, events, news items, and social media.
Of course we had to work on the new website besides all the work we already have to handle the ever increasing amount of orders, attend events to show you our products, and product development like the automatic drives for the oboe profiler and bassoon (or bagpipe) tip profiler. Especially the webshop and order process took a lot of time. When a weborder is placed we only have 2 questions left, what will the delivery time be and how should we ship.
Not all functions are (fully) available directly. We concentrated on the webshop and order process. We will continue to work on the website so gradually more information and functions will become available. We hope the new website will give you a better idea of all the products we deliver, make it easier for you to choose a product, and make it easier for you to find product and support information.
We also created a more stylish and sparkling corporate identity. Together with the new website we will start to use our new corporate identity.
